Which Backdrop Material is Right for Me?

Wrinkle-Free Fabric Backdrops

• Fabric backdrops are easy to transport & offer the largest selection of styles and sizes ranging from 5ft wide to 20ft wide!
• All feature a sewn-in rod pocket for hanging
• For best results, store folded or loosely rolled.
• All fabric backdrops are machine washable and dryer-safe

Solid Colored Fabric Backdrops: A polyester matte fabric, available in dozens of solid colors, ranging from standard white to bold pastels. Available in 5ft x 9ft -10ft x 10ft & 10ft x 20ft.

Wrinkle-Free Cloth: A 100% polyester weave, similar to a tablecloth. The fabric is wrinkle-resistant and has a sewn-in rod pocket. This backdrop material is both washer and dryer-safe. Please note that due to the printing process small variances in backdrop size and color may occur.

Floor Mats

• Washable and waterproof in case of any accidents and spills
• Specifically designed for use on the floor, however, can be hung as a backdrop using clamps
• Photographs best when able to lay completely flat, such as when placed on a hard surface
• Available in 3 standard sizes: 4ft x 5ft, 5ft x 7ft, 8ft x 8ft
• Shipped rolled on a cardboard tube
• Easily roll up for storage or transport

Vinyl Backdrops

         

•  Has a matte finish so there is no glare from lighting

• Because they are easy to clean, they are ideal for “messy” photo shoots, such as cake smashes, or when working with pets
• For best results, store rolled on a cardboard core.
• Printed Vinyl Backdrops: Available in thousands of printed designs & available in 3 standard sizes, Requires clamps for hanging. Additional sizes are available in custom printed options.
• At Backdrop Express, we also offer solid color Vinyl Backdrops. These vinyl backgrounds are available in 4 colors (white, black, green, & gray) & a large variety of sizes. Each is shipped rolled on a cardboard tube - easily hung with clamps.

Poly Paper Backdrop

• A synthetic coated paper. Durable, water-resistant and very difficult to tear
• Has a matte finish so there is no glare from lighting
• Requires clamps for hanging
• Available in thousands of printed designs and in 3 standard sizes, including 4ft x 5ft, & 5ft x 7ft.
• Additional sizes available as a custom printed backdrop.
• For best results, store rolled in the original shipping box
• Use painter's tape or masking tape to secure; gaffer tape is not recommended and may damage the backdrop
