Custom Step & Repeat Backdrop
Order your own custom step & repeat red carpet backdrop from Backdrop Express! These personalized backdrops are perfect for parties, weddings, corporate events, trade shows & dozens of other special events. Backdrops are available in several sizes and material options. Material Options:
Please note that due to the printing process small variances in backdrop size & color may occur.
- Poly Paper: A synthetic coated paper. It is durable, water-resistant and very difficult to tear. Has a matte finish so there is no glare from lighting. Requires clamps for hanging.
- Vinyl: High-quality vinyl that is more durable and heavier than Poly Paper. It is water-resistant and is very easy to clean; simply wipe away dirt marks with a damp cloth. Has a matte finish so there is no glare from lighting. Comes attached to a cardboard core for easy hanging.
- Wrinkle-Free Cloth:Â Wrinkle Free, similar to a tablecloth. Fabric is wrinkle-free, and has a sewn in rod pocket. This backdrop material is both washer and dryer safe. Please note that due to the printing process small variances in backdrop size and color may occur.
What Size Should I Order? 5ft wide is ideal for kids or couple photographs (1-2 people). 6ft wide is ideal for small group photographs (2-4 people). 8ft wide is Ideal for medium-sized groups (4-6 people). 10ft wide is Ideal for large groups (6-8 people). 20ft wide is ideal for extra large groups (10+ people).
Proofs & Approval Process:
- Place an order for the material and size you need.
- After placing your order, please email all image files to customerservice@backdropexpress.com and reference your order number (see image specs below). If you would like a custom background color or have special design instructions, please include this information in your email.
- After we have received your artwork, we will create a digital proof and email it to you for approval within 1 - 2 business days. We do require an order be processed prior to requesting a proof.
- We provide one round of edits to your original proof at no charge. Any additional proofs will require a $25 design fee.
- Once you approve the proof, the order will be sent to production. Orders usually ship within 1 week after being submitted for production. Due to the custom nature of this product all sales are final. If you cancel your custom order after a proof has been sent, a $25 cancellation fee will apply for the custom design work that has been done.
Image File Specs: Please send the largest image you have, preferably a Vector file (.EPS, or .AI file types). All text included within your Vector image should be outlined, or converted to curves. If you do not have access to the original vector files please send a Raster image (.jpg .png .tiff) and our design team will check the file(s) for quality. Raster images should be a minimum of 6in width (432 pixels) @ 72 dpi, and be free of any pixelation when viewed at 100%.
Background Color: If you wish to submit a custom color for the background, please provide it to us in RGB or CMYK color values via email when you submit your artwork. Please note that due to the printing process, we cannot guarantee an exact color match.
Please note that we cannot send your backdrop to print until we have a customer approved proof. Every printed backdrop is made to order and requires processing time before it ships. Due to the printing process, this additional time cannot be expedited. Please contact us or indicate in your order notes if you need a product by a specific deadline.
